Coworkers at a former employer really loved custom emoji (myself included). Recently, some of the go-to tools for creating custom emoji/GIFs (or downloading existing custom emoji / GIFs) were shared in our alumni chat. These tools are all open and public for anyone to use, so I thought I'd capture them for my own reference, and to share.

Slackmojis: I mean, the OG.
Blob Emoji: Assorted blob emoji.
Cult of the Party Parrot: What it says on the tin.
emoji.supply/kitchen and emojikitchen.dev (Emoji Kitchen explorers): Per Emojipedia, Emoji Kitchen is a Google feature that allows Android users to send merged or elaborated sticker versions of Google's emoji designs.
Party-ify: Bring the party.
Old man yells at...: Yell at anything.
Wowemoji: Make it wow.
Total Emojis as a Service (TEaaS): Marquee-ify, intensify, shakefist-ify, etc etc.
Make emoji: Create ✨animated✨ custom emotes and emoji GIFs.
Deal with it: "Deal with it" GIF emoji generator.
GIF background remover: Remove the background from GIF animations.
Remove.bg: Remove background image.
